Volunteer Counsellors/Psychotherapists sought for Adults, Adolescents, Couples and Families
ARC Cancer Support Centres are seeking qualified Volunteer Counsellors & Psychotherapists (accredited and pre-accredited) to provide counselling to our service users (individuals with a cancer diagnosis, family members and carers). During Covid-19 restrictions, counselling is provided online via Zoom or by telephone. Under normal circumstances, counselling is provided face-to-face in our three Centres (Eccles St., South Circular Road and Herbert Avenue). Going forward, a blend of face-to-face or remote options will be offered to clients.
A minimum of 4 hours commitment per week is required (initially working from your own home), and up to 6 hours weekly are available. Candidates must have evidence of qualifications, insurance and IACP/IAHIP/ICP/PSI membership. References will be required & Garda vetting is undertaken by ARC.
Supervision (monthly group and individual) is provided by ARC.

ARC Cancer Support Centres in Dublin are seeking qualified Volunteer (accredited and pre-accredited) Group Facilitation Counsellors & Psychotherapists to provide Support Group & Therapy group facilitation to our service users (individuals with a cancer diagnosis, family members and carers). During Covid-19 restrictions, counselling is provided online (via Zoom) or by telephone. Under normal circumstances, counselling is provided face-to-face in our three Centres (Eccles St., South Circular Road and Herbert Avenue). Going forward, a blend of face-to-face or remote options will be offered to clients.
