ARC holds a number of talks on tips and techniques for managing symptoms that arise as side effects of cancer or in response to treatments. These talks provide practical information to help with wellbeing and self-image.

Topics covered in these talks include: nutrition, physical activity, dealing with cancer fatigue, effective pain management strategies and positive appearances.

ARC offers a series of talks for friends and family dealing on palliative care and how it improves the quality of life of patients.

Through our talks on bereavement ARC provide participants with the opportunity to explore and discuss the different stages of grief and how to find support in this personal journey.

Provides an opportunity to give and receive support from others.

Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual lymph drainage is a specialised treatment for cancer-related lymphoedema.

Open women's support group

Cancer Thrive & Survive

Helpful to those who have finished treatment or who may be on to long term maintenance treatment.

Teaches coping technique that can be put into daily practice to minimise stress.
