Acupuncture, Reflexology, and Manual Lymph Drainage

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves putting fine needles into the body at particular points. The needles stay in place for a short time. The practitioner then removes it. There is evidence that acupuncture may help with some symptoms and side effects of cancer and its treatment. For more information please email info@arccancersupport.ie or call 01 215 0250.

Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of massage that can encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. It relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet, hands, and ears. It’s based on a theory that these body parts are connected to certain organs and body systems. For more information please email info@arccancersupport.ie or call 01 215 0250.
