Therapy sessions are currently being provided remotely due to health guidelines. ARC offers a range of therapies provided free of charge. Therapies vary in each centre with some evening appointments available. If you want to learn more about our therapies, please see our services calendar or get in touch with us directly.
Complementary one to one therapies are currently suspended due to Covid-19.
We offer a number of one-to-one 50-minute appointment sessions such as counselling or complementary therapies. These one-to-one sessions are offered to people with a cancer diagnosis and to family members or loved ones. The complementary therapies include reflexology, acupuncture, manual lymph drainage or metamorphosis.
All therapies are delivered by fully qualified therapists with experience in delivering cancer care.
Drop-in classes are classes that run on a weekly basis and vary in time from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. All you need to do is call and reserve a place on these classes 3 days in advance as numbers are limited.
The classes include various types of yoga, relaxation and mindfulness. Family and loved ones are welcome to join these classes. Yoga mats supplied.
ARC delivers various survivorship programmes that may be helpful to people at different stages.
Some may be beneficial if you are recently diagnosed or you are on long-term treatments others may be specific to the type of cancer diagnosed. They are delivered once a week on average over a period of 6 weeks.
ARC runs a number of support groups and group therapies that allow people whose lives have been touched by cancer to come together.
We offer a combination of physical therapies, such as yoga and pilates, as well as outlets for tension through creative and stress management sessions.
All of our services are free of charge
