Community Law and Mediation

Community Law & Mediation (CLM) is a community law centre, which provides free legal advice, advocacy and mediation services.

In partnership with the Irish Cancer Society, CLM is running a monthly, free legal advice clinic specialising in social welfare rights and appeals, including overpayments.

Free legal advice is available relating to:

  • Carer’s Supports
  • Illness/Disability Supports
  • All other social welfare payments
  • Medical Card Application Appeals Rejections

The next free legal advice clinic will take place on 20 January and each third Thursday of the month unless it conflicts with a holiday. We will notify in advance each month.

People who would like to learn more about the service should get in touch with the Irish Cancer Society Support Line on 1800 200 700. Please note that appointments are limited and therefore not guaranteed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, legal advice clinic appointments will take place by phone.
